So it seems the medical bills are in fact going up. I am not sure how much as they have to do everything bit by bit because the office is so busy this time of year and I now have to go to a specialist and wait to see how much they will cost. The unknown is the worst part and I have spent many sleepless nights fretting over it. 

I have been trying to spread my message of help and I found that tumblr is a great way to do this. I made a post of situation there and ask that if anyone likes my work if they could offer a reblog it as many times as they like just so I can hopefully get seen: fusedelegance.tumblr.com/post/…

Hello everyone! 
As you may know I have been having a lot of issues these past few months with increasing medical bills. I am still having a hard paying them off and while I managed to get some lowered through a lot of research and calling around I had more piled on so I am still where I am started. After working to pay those off I am left with nothing to help buy groceries or pay the monthly living expenses. 

Usually by now I am getting steady Holiday sales but with the way Etsy has changed things I am getting only around 30 views in my shop a day so I need help this holiday season getting seen.

First off I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the kind words and shares of my work when I made my last journal entry. It meant so much to me and gave me hope that I can still make it with my glass work. I felt myself coming to tears a few times from all of the support. 

I however am still having troubles getting views after that wonderful surge died down from my last post.

In the time between my last journal entry and now I have been working on new glass work and had to travel to some art shows. I have been working hard to get everything listed online in time for the Holidays. 

Unfortunately, in that time I have also come across some major medical and dental bills. 

I have been using my art to pay for a surgery I had two years back and it my only source of income.

When I finally got that taken care of I was hit with with these new ones. I have about $2,500 worth that I am looking at right now that very well may go up depending on how some tests come back. 

Between these and helping pay for basic necessities I am in trouble. 

I am not asking for a handout. I do ask if you enjoy my work please share my shop on any social media sites that you may have or maybe forums that you frequent. Word of mouth travels so far. It is my dream to have my hard work pay off and my pieces end up with those that enjoy the work I do.

Hello everyone, 

This entry has been a long time coming, and one that I have been avoiding having to write. I just hope that it hasn't come too late.

I have found myself at a crossroads and I love what I do so much that I have decided to come here asking for help. If things don't change I may end up having to give up on my glass and metal work which is my dream job. 

Lately though I have noticed that my Etsy shop is rarely getting seen which means I can not make steady sales. I have researched social media, SEO, tried some paid advertisement, and put my work on various message boards but I still haven't been able to get a steady flow of viewers to my shop. I feel like I am just getting lost in the sea of all the other shops out there. I would invest more in advertisements if I could but I am running out of funds and I dont know how I am going to raise funds to keep trying.

I have noticed when I do get seen that I make sales which means people do enjoy my work enough to buy it and that gives me hope. I see other fused glass jewelry shops doing well which also gives me hope that it is possible and I like to think that my work is unique enough to stand out when seen.

This is not me begging for sales, but if you have a social media account and enjoy my shop could please share it whenever you see something that catches your eye. Or if you have any tips or know of decent places to pay for advertising that have a high return rate please let me know. I only need two to three sales a day to be able to get back on my feet again and I need all the help I can get. 

I love my glass work so much and it has helped me through rough times, depression and with paying off medical bills I had accumulated from a surgery I had a few years back. I have built my little Etsy shop from the ground up and taught myself everything I know through nothing but trial and error since I started. Working by myself has had its ups and downs which makes it very hard for me to manage creating things and fighting to get seen. It's starting to weigh on me and I no longer know what to do. 

I want to prove that it is possible for self taught artists to make it.

Hello everyone! 
I have recently found that my Wacoom Bamboo fun tablet I got as a gift a few years back is starting to get a loose cord that is gving me troubles.
I unfortunately am not in a financial situation where I can afford a new one since I have been relying on my glass work for income and I am still feeling the effects of paying off a surgery and medical bills I had.
I use it to help create new designs for my glass and some other works so I will be in a not so great spot if it dies. I dont know if a computer repair shop can replace or tighten the cord. Ive seen tutorials on how to do it but I dont have solder and I am not good at repairing electronics. 
If I cant get it repaired I have been looking at the Huion H610PRO as a replacement. Ive seen good and bad reviews of it but I would like to hear from people that have had one for awhile. 
Im already stretched so thin its hard to replace any of my tools so any suggestions would be fantastic. Or if anyone knows a more affordable and comparable brand I can look up that would be great to.
