So there is a small story behind this photo. I was back by the pool taking photos and I saw this fellow fluttering about. A few minutes later I saw him in the pool so I fished him out and set him down next to where I was working to dry his wings so my pup wouldn't eat him. He crawled over to where I was taking photos of this fused glass wing I had finished and I couldn't help but get a picture. Unfortunately, the little guy was near the end of his life and died a few minutes later, which is why I believe he ended up in the pool to begin with since the weather was lovely out and he was a bit spastic with how he was flying when I first saw him.

[link] All glass is hand cut and shaped by me and is fired in my kiln at 1500 degrees to get this wonderful shape. All my pieces are properly annealed for durability. This glass piece is 100% glass not paper or paint on glass.
