Owl's Night Fused Glass by FusedElegance Owl's Night Fused Glass by FusedElegance
Adorable fused glass owl pendant made with dark purple and green dichroic glass that just pops the white enamel tree and owl design.

For sale here: [link]

All glass is hand cut and shaped by me and is fired in my kiln at 1500 degrees to get this wonderful shape. All my pieces are properly annealed for durability. The white enamel design is one I got to melt into the glass and is permanently fused to the top of the glass and will not rub away.

Its called a bail. I attach with an epoxy that is made for metal and glass.

bail... thanks!! :) you enriched my vocabulary... XD
do you "bake" the bail with the rest in the oven or do you apply it after? i'm sorry if i'm asking so many questions, but i'm so curious about new techniques...

I cant melt the bail into the glass because my kiln (Its kind of like a giant oven) goes up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and that would melt the bail.

Awesome piece, I love the totally unique tree. The background too is perfect for the image on top. Nice work, as always! :)
