Description
I got some new designs to melt to into the glass while I work on some new drawings. I liked this owl design so I melted into a transparent teal/purple dichroic glass base that I created. One of the hardest things I have had to teach myself as a glass artist is drilling holes in the top for pinch bails. I can not tell you all how many pieces I ruined trying to get the hang of it, and they are always ruined after all the work is done so I was hesitant to start working on it again. I am glad that I am starting to get the hang of it!

All glass is hand cut and shaped by me and is fired in my kiln at 1500 degrees to get this wonderful shape. All my pieces are properly annealed for durability.
