Blood Dragon Fused Glass by FusedElegance Blood Dragon Fused Glass by FusedElegance
Decided to make one of my Asian dragon pendants with a deep red glass and really liked the turn out. I may make one for myself in the future.

For sale here: [link]

All glass is hand cut and shaped by me and is fired in my kiln at 1500 degrees to get this wonderful shape. All my pieces are properly annealed for durability. This pendant is 100% glass not paint or paper on glass.

Thanks so much ^_^

And my first piece looked far better in my mind. For some reason I thought it would magically shrink when melted.

That's truly awesome!
I love all the details added to this: the shape of the dragon, its face, its tail, its back...

This is another beautiful piece, your shop definitely has a lot to offer!

I really like the way the glass, specifically the colored part, comes out. What causes the texture it gets? It really is incredible.

Also, I like the detail exhibited in the dragon! Very nice.

And I can't tell if the bits by it's mouth is fire, or a character. If it's a character, what does it mean?

Thanks :tighthug:

The texture comes from the way dichroic glass melts and the bits by the mouth is fire ^_^

It's really cool how it does that! It catches the light so beautifully!

And any time! I will definitely keep an eye out for the new stuff!
